after 2022, the frequency with which i wrote poetry declined very suddenly.

i often lacked motivation, or that possessive spirit that takes me and forces me to get language out into a shape, which is so vital to the way i write poetry.

well, since 2024, the poetry's been flowing again; and a major avenue with which i managed to coax it back out was by ceasing to write in perfect capitalization.

removing the additional barrier of a "correct" writing-style ended up unblocking the arteries that my language spews from; and once again, i've been able to bleed on the page again.
